"Amazing music, really among the best ever made. It's a real pity that the CD mastering was done like this is some kind of Britney Spears pop music... Loud.. loud... LOUD! All dynamics are dead, or crippled way beyond acceptable, everything sounds loud, all instruments, no nuances... from start to finish. Sure, this sounds almost fine on lousy sound systems or via IPOD... but if you have a decent sound system, and if you enjoy good music with good dynamic and natural sound, I'm sorry to say these artists/producers butchered their own CD. Are they just ignorant? Who knows..."

"If you are familiar with didier malherbe s HADOUK TRIO then you know that he is an AWESOME composer and a fantastic doudouk player an armenian traditional organ, which its sound can be described as a mix between an oboe and a saxophone which he uses istead of the ones reffered.The other members of this outstanding band is STEVE SHENAN in a multi synthetic percussionist role and LOY ERLICH which plays jajouz something like you can call it a traditional african bass .All of these artists are masters of their organs at the highest degree of virtouosity and improvisation and prove it in BALDAMORE a live performance which took place in cabaret sauvage in Paris at the 22th and 23th of may in 2007 .HADOUK TRIO is accompanyed here in some arrengements by BACHAR KHALIFE /bongos NICOLAS GENEST /TRUMPET and MALOUMA MINT MEIDAH /vocals, which gives a more full and imposing sound in the whole live .HADOUK TRIO sounds always far far more better in livesthan in their studio recordings which are all excellent,< i mention this fact just to underline their extraordinary musical value in lives ,and not to imply that their studio recordings are not superb either> .HADOUK TRIO is the best WORLD ETHNIC JAZZ GROUP in the world today ,and every recording from them, studio ,or live is a great musical event FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE INITIATED TO REAL MUSIC .A GEM OF GEMS AND AMONG THE BEST WORLD ETHNIC JAZZ LIVES EVER EVER RECORDED ."
