CD ReviewsLike his name says, a real H-bomb of a singer! Bop Cat | 06/18/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "If you like Wynonie Harris, you'll love H-Bomb Ferguson. Their voices are almost identical. But that's not a criticism. It would be unfair to call him an imitator. I consider it a pleasant coincidence. All in all, he's an incredible blues shouter, underrated, and along the lines of Roy Brown and of course Wynonie Harris.
And I would like to add that this label, Rev-Ola, is great. They've reissued many great recordings. And I would recommend this collection to anyone who loves great jump blues, early r'n'b, or any good time rocking party music." |
