Enjoyable Recording

"This is another delightful recording in the Contemporary of Mozart series. The Symphony in E flat Major's Minuet is gay and light; what you normally think of when you think of Minuet. It reminds me of Dresden figurines with their satins and lace. It contains a nice trio with the horns. Symphony in F Major seems dark and moody for the first two movements but the Minuet and Finale are a lot brighter. The Symphony in D Major starts out slow but then turns very festive. The Minuet is in stark contrast to the Symphony in E flat. The Finale is a quick rondo in the classic style of Haydn."
