""Polymovie" does indeed make it worth the price... any price. This mix is so full of drama and makes an eloquent case for the beauty of noise when used as a counterpoint. If only I could see the movie this mix was made for... The "Believe" 16B mix is just awesome (as heard on Sasha & Digweed's Northern ExposureII) and was what got me interested in Gusgus to begin with."
The EP itself actually is pretty standard

""Standard Stuff for Drama" is a collection of six tracks, five of them remixes of songs from the album POLYESTERDAY and one the track "Polyesterday."Although "Polymovie," the version of "Polyesterday" mixed for the music video, is a fine, cinematic, atmospheric track, the other tracks don't quite stack up. "Barry A/B" and "Gun Acid" are two boring, monotonous techno remixes. "Believe Underdog Instrumental" is pretty boring and chaotic. "Believe 16B (radio edit)" is an okay remix, used by Sasha and John Digweed to good effect in NORTHERN EXPOSURE II: EAST COAST EDITION.All in all, it's "Polymovie" that makes this album recommendable, except for those who would buy it anyway for collection value. But certainly POLYDISTORTION and THIS IS NORMAL are the most important purchases by gusGus."
If you only buy one Gus Gus Album

"I have all of the Gus Gus albums and CD singles, and I enjoy this disk the most. If you want to start your Gus Gus collection start here. Polymovie by far is the best track."
Gus Gus is God, but some remixes suck.

"I was quite pleased to discover that Gus Gus had released something else in da U.S. of A. I bought Standard Stuff for Drama and listened to it. The first track I'd heard millions of times before, good ol' "Polyesterday." Then it gave me a cheap dance mix of "Barry," and other cheap dance mix of "Gun." Both of them are cheap 'cause they both sound THE SAME!!! Next was the RADIO EDIT of Believe (16B mix)!!! WHAT???!!! The radio edit sucks. I much prefer the full version ( which you can find on the limited edition of Polydistortion, of which only 2000 were made), not some stupid radio edit. The Underdog remix of "Believe" is very nice, especially when it stops the beat in the middle and then slowly starts it again. "Polymovie" is well worth the price of the cd, even though it's yet another remix of "Polyesterday." It works very well, and it's da bomb."
