"I heard about these guys when Incubus mentioned them in a chat session, and so I picked up their CD Backout Smiling. I couldn't believe I had never heard of them before, they were the most amazing group I'd ever heard. But once I was familiar, their name started standing out everywhere. I see their stickers in subways and on signs all over New England (NY & Boston, especially, and even in CA), and just about everyone who I know who listens to real music has seen them live (and lived to tell about it). I'm going to see them live this month, and I have heard that they will blow me away again. Can't wait!! I fully recommend any of their many albums to people who are sick of "spoon-fed music.""

"This CD is great, not only does it have 3 good songs on it, but it also has live footage of Gruvis concerts. They're not well known yet, but this Providence band is still sweet, and I highly recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys any type of music, as Gruvis finds ways to combine all types of music, including rap and jazz to create a unique sound."
