Traveling in a tripped-out converted school bus, The Growlers have crisscrossed the country with their unique blend of woozy, reverb-drenched gypsy surf. With a live show that falls somewhere between a carnival sideshow and psychedelic beach party, the rambunctious California sextet has made a name for itself touring with Dr. Dog, Devendra Banhart, Julian Casablancas, Nobunny, and Vampire Weekend. They have appeared on Fuel TV's The Daily Habit, and were noted by the LA Times as a Band to Watch. But we think Los Angeles radio powerhouse KROQ stated it best: "The Growlers will rule the universe!" We agree.
