Sadly the last record, and you can tell by listening to it.

"The Groovie Ghoulies will always have a place in my heart. I got to see this band three times and hang out with them each time. Extremely nice folks, if not a lil' quirky. 99 Lives being their last record, I was hoping it would be the best thing they have ever done. Well, its a good album, but it seems rushed. The production on the album is very strange. Its like Kepi's vocals were recorded in a bathroom, and then over-dubbed with the same exact singing adding a weird echo-effect. Also, Scampi was never the perfect drummer(I always thought she never hit the drums has hard as she could), but on here the drums sound really weak. Roach is in top form. Some really corny lyrics though(How could GG even MENTION the blasphemy that is Devo 2.0!) As far as the music goes, well its great stuff, if not a bit melancholy. Its like they knew it was their last album( Sayin' Goodbye Again). Bottom line is this: if you liked even two or three Ghoulies albums then you will want this. The band just broke up due to personal reasons...I hope Kepi and Roach arent headed for divorce court. But anyway, if you like your punk light-hearted and fun then the Groovie Ghoulies are for you and this album is essential, just like everything from Re-Animation Festival to current. You know what to expect. Have fun.
RIP Groovie Ghoulies"
