NILS LOFREN before his successful solo career formed GRIN in 1969. This 2 CD set collects three of the albums they made for Epic Records. Their debut album GRIN originally released in 1971 featured a guest appearance by NEIL YOUNG and DANNY WHITTEN from CRAZY HORSE. '1+1' was released in 1972 and featured a guest appearance by GRAHAM NASH on the track 'Hi, Hello Home'. 'All Out' originally released in 1973, featured as a second guitarist NILS' brother TOM. With a guest appearance by KATHI McDONALD, who has worked with BIG BROTHER AND THE HOLDING CO, LONG JOHN BALDRY, and LEON RUSSELL amongst many others. As well as a successful solo career, NILS LOFGREN is also a member of BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN and the E STREET BAND.
