Hard to Beat Out for My Favourite Cd of 2007

"I first heard of Griffin House while working in a music shop about 4 years ago when his cd "Lost and Found" was released. I played it inthe store a few times and we enjoyed it. Due to the fact that i have worked in a music store my attention span for new music is that of it came/it played/its on the shelf per an average of 2 rotations. This cd however has been a constant force in my cd player, ipod and itunes collection and continues to find songs that will play all day in my head. On the tracks "Burning up the Night," "Live To Be Free," and "'Cause I Miss You" you'll notice Griffin channeling the spirit of past Springsteen and Petty albums and still you'll be amazed by the spirit this album creates on the tracks "The Guy That Says Goodbye To You" and "Czech Republic.""
