Great music, great price

"The combination of these two enchanting piano concertos at such a low price should not be passed up. Titov does an admirable job of bringing out the lyricism and pulsating passion of both concertos, and the sound quality is consistently clear and vivid. I suppose there are probably better recordings of these pieces out there, but this one is nonetheless quite good, and can't be beat for the price. If you're building a classical CD collection, you won't regret picking this one up."

"Fine recordings of these two wonderful romantic piano concertos. The sound quality, while not demonstration class, is warm and rich (especially in the strings), with a very nice balance between the levels of the piano and the orchestra. I'd never heard of either of these pianists before, but both handle these masterworks with considerable aplomb. This would be a good disc even at a higher price, but at this level of wallet-damage it is unmissable."
