"Greg Camp is a music lover, and he loves to play with and combine different musical styles. As a result, this album is beyond categorization. It's a romp through 60s western soundtracks and surf music, hip-hop, rock, lounge, and all manners of pop. This album is a lot of fun to listen to, because it will take you to so many places. Listen for hints of Wire Train in "Cat's Game", a nod to the music of Sergio Leone westerns in "Introduktion", a full-on, in-you-face surf assault a-la Dick Dale in "Defektor", and a tour down graffiti-covered urban alleys in "Armageddon Slide". There's a fun song dedicated to Greg's wife ("Gina Marie") and there's even a little hint of the Smash Mouth sound in "Wanna Go for a Ride".
Yes, Greg Camp was the primary songwriter for Smash Mouth - but this is NOT a Smash Mouth album. This is a showcase of Greg's songwriting ability and love of music. So approach this album with an open mind and appreciate what it has to offer to us music lovers. These 14 songs are gems, each with its own distinctive color and sparkle. Have fun listening!"
