Starting with their venerable "Midnight Confessions" and "Sooner Or Later" the album settles into a couple of their better love songs, "Where Were You When I Needed You" (a song a great many of us can identify with), and my personal favorite, "Bella Linda". "Feelings" jazzes the tempo up with its gypsy-like rhythm and heavy reliance on the tamborine. You almost expect a magic carpet to appear and wisk you away to some enchanted Arabian night. Instead the title cut, "Temptation Eyes" gets you a swayin' with its very danceable beat. And thanks to their popular "Look Out Girl" and "Things I Should Have Said", the upbeat rhythm continues. The latter is very reminiscent of a sound best associated with the Beatles. "Heaven Knows" is pure Grass Roots, and another of my personal favorites. The album ends with "I'd Wait A Million Years", but I wouldn't recommend you do so. I'd suggest you waste no time at all. Get to your nearest CD store and grab this grand album while it's still in print. You'll never regret the purchase. TEMPTATION EYES has it all!" Not bad for the money....... James F. However, if you are looking for just one CD by the Grass Roots, you would be better off to get their "All Time Greatest Hits" CD. It's a little more money, but you get a much better cross-section of Grass Roots music. If, on the other hand, you just want another Grass Roots CD that sounds good, go ahead and buy the "Temptation Eyes". I wasn't disappointed and I don't think you will be either.
