"Tim Kasher once again displays his well seasoned song writing ability in Lovers Need Lawyers. The album is another chronicle of the trials and tribulations of his relationships and ongoing self inventory as an entertainer. For the Love of the Song and Leaving Omaha display the raw melodies and smooth song writing many have come to enjoy from The Good Life. But the uniqueness of this album comes from the other tracks. The album contains a sound much like Cursives, The Ugly Organ in songs such as Entertainer and Friction. The Title track and Always a Bridesmaid however carry an unusual upbeat sound for Tim that you could probably tap your foot to. This Album is a must have for any Good Life, Cursive, or Bright Eyes fan and if you haven't checked out Saddle Creek Records I encourage you to."
