"If you liked their first one (Bring It On) you'll love this one. An improvement on their unique style, Gomez have managed to create a smoother layed back album which takes the best parts of their first album, simplifies them (with more maturity than the first outing) strips away the complex nature of those songs and emphasises their bluesier qualities. They once again make their songs undertake left turns when you don't expect it, bringing in plenty of outside influences. More harmonious use of their three vocalists - they're just much more together on this album not having to cover any musical insecurities with overlaying sounds like they did on their first one (to great effect I might add)."

"I haven't been this energized about a new(new to me)band since Nirvana and Pearl Jam's debut.Every song on this CD gets better with every listen and every week I have a new favorite song. The lead vocals are deep and so full of tone that it completely complements the lyrical genius that went into it. Many of the songs remind me of a Pearl Jam/Blind Melon colaboration with a little more guitar talent. While the song"We haven't turned around" has definitely put Gomez on the map,the sheer weight of this CD will put them in every household.Thank You Gomez for making songs that once again give me goosebumps with every listen and for giving me hope that MUSIC in the next decade will continue to be fresh."
