CD ReviewsGlobe with a Mature Sound 09/16/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "Globe has definitely matured in this album. TK experiments more with samples to create a dance/rock/pop album. The second track and the third track ("wanna be a dream maker", also featured in the last Kouhaku Utagassen) are the best and stick in your head. Keiko has the best voice that goes in every range and is not an annoying high voice (like some Japanese pop stars). I loved that this album did not sound so pop and that Marc hardly sang." Globe Continues to Demonstrate its Vast Range originalj2 | Portland, Oregon USA | 04/15/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "The other review on this page (as of this writing) very nicely sums up the maturing globe (no capital "G") sound. I'll add..."Perfume Of Love" is the piece on this CD that brings me (nearly) to tears. Keiko (now Mrs. Tetsuya Komuro...) conveys the heartfelt plea of a lover who is haunted by the 'perfume of love' left behind in her lover's wake. "I want to forget your name and everything about you..." she begins.Trivia bit: This was almost globe's last artistic collaboration. Thank Heavens it wasn't!!! Collect the whole set! Amazon's price is good, particularly if you don't have a local J-pop importer in your area."
