"Those 2 uplifting/soulful albums by Glenn jones, prove how good vocal range and experience he has.
Underrated 'Everbody Loves A Winner' was released back in 1983, contains uptempo soul jams 'I am somebody','Keep On Doin', title song and serious romantic tracks such as 'Love Intensity' and 'Thank You for the love'. I remember people were breakdancing with 'I am somebody' back in 1983.( I watched on the video)Good old days!
'Finesse' his 1984 album which was produced by Leon Slyvers III contains R&B hit 'Show Me' and Uplifting tracks such as 'Finesse,,'On The Floor'.
Consequently, those 2 albums show us how magnificent he used his vocal range and 80's tech together, without a doubt Glenn was a mentor amongst the other 80's soul star such as Alexander O'neal,Luther Vandross, Freddie Jackson or Jeffrey Osborne...
You won't be dissappointed."

"Well if you like expressive R&B mixed with soul this is an outstanding start!Former gospel singer Glenn Jones strong debut minialbum from 83 is a classic including the smash hit "I am somebody" together with the sensitive and truly intense "Love intensity". Also sing-along "Everybody loves a winner" is great. On his second LP from 84 produced by the mighty Leon F. Sylvers III the title track "Finesse" is good but the hottest track though is no 2 on side A, "You're the Only One I Love" with a fantastic sensitive interpretation of what soul really is about. All that packed on one CD. Now it's just for you to buy."
