"With the current situation from September 11th and the placement of our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, there is a campaign to send music to our Forces in the Middle East. This would be an ideal choice. The title track song concerns a family member who is separated from the family and longs for the memories from home. I heard it when it was released in 1987. I was exposed to the radio release, where it sounded like the bridge was on a six-string guitar. The album version is definately on a 12-string guitar. This writer considers the 12-string version much better. In spite of Mr. Campbell's recent legal problems and with today's climate, buy the album and send a copy of "Love Always (Letter to Home)" to the Troops.Merry Christmas."
