Dissappointment for Gitane fans

"If you are fan of Gitane's previous dark and sensual music, this album will be a waste of money for you. It is very sell-out and dodgy and has none of the depth of her other works. In fact, my husband asked me why I was listening to some MTV pop garbage when I was playing it. I told him it was Gitane and he didn't believe me. I am quite dissappointed in this album. Goth fans, stay away from it. She is trying to convert to mainstream."
She does it AGAIN !!!

"One more time Gitane shows us the deepness of her thoughts - and her voice!!! There are ballads and rather speedful tracks, some of them reminding of Demonix ("Ball of Love"), some of the collaboration with Mr. ROZZ WILLIAMS [R.I.P.](e. g. "Desperiosity"), some show only the heart of a great artist - Gitane Demone. As her voice make you shiver with joyful emotiones, you'll discover a very sensitive, sensual women. As all her other work (except one), this truly earns the five stars."
Gitane goes on a spiritual quest with this album

"Track by track, this album feels very different from Demonix. Gitane has dedicated this album to soul seeking and memories of a fallen comrade. Ball of Love may bring back memories of her ritual fascination of S&M and B&D, but elsewhere the album finds Gitane looking for a messiah figure to follow and hold close.Good lyrics; Laid back listening; Not particularly dark or somber; A little too religious; Solid production quality;"
