A Trip Worth Taking!

"If you are like me, and you are tired of buying `kid's music' that you are embarrassed to listen to with your child, then check out Road Trip, the latest CD from Boston-based `tween sensation Girl Authority. A high energy mix of contemporary and classic hits as well as a handful of brilliant originals, the album features nine super-talented middle school friends from the Boston area who sing and dance like they are having the time of their lives.
Road Trip is packed with fourteen terrific contemporary covers including Rascal Flatt's chart-topping `Life Is A Highway," Hoku's "Perfect Day,' and Christina Aguilera's "Here To Stay," as well as such family-friendly 60's, 70's and 80's staples as "Dancin' In The Street,' "The Locomotion," "We Are Family," "Holiday," "Vacation" and "Walking On Sunshine." New material from synthpop legend Vince Clarke - the new single "Let's Get Together" - alterna-rock darling Tanya Donelly - `This Is My Day' - and Cyndi Lauper's inspirational "Shine" round out the package.
Road Trip is a no-risk disk you, and your child, will can enjoy together the whole way through."

"This CD is so refreshing! The kids singing seem like nice, regular girls youngsters can look up to. My granddaughter loves to sing and dance, and I hate to have her watching some of the celebrities we have today. I just got her this CD, and she hasn't stopped listening to it. She knows one of the dances they do from the DVD that comes with the CD, and she now performs it for us as she sings along with the CD."

"I'm a dad with twin daughters, and I'm thrilled something like this has come along for girls to listen to. I had to buy two copies of Road Trip, because the booklets that come with the CD are like little books about the band members, and each of my daughters wanted her own. The music is catchy and innocent, and (speaking as a dad) I appreciate that the girls in the band dress like young girls and not inappropriately. My daughters like to try to copy the Girl Authority styles, and I'm pleased it's very kid-friendly. It's amazing, too, that these girls in the band are so talented for being so young (I think the youngest is only nine or ten?) Five stars for giving my daughters something positive to look up to!"

"My daughter is a huge fan of this group, and LOVES this new CD. It comes with a free DVD that shows the girls behind the scenes, at rehearsals and in concerts, at photo shoots, etc. They seem like a really cute group of girls -- my daughter and her friends love them. Best of all, I don't cringe when I hear her singing along to the songs -- the lyrics are very kid appropriate -- very different than some of the other songs you hear on the radio. This would be a great Easter gift for a young girl -- I'm ordering more now for my nieces. Enjoy!"
