Album Description"Stoner rock with a twist, ideal for those willing to risk something new." -- All Music Guide If you had never seen Gideon Smith, you might imagine a seven-foot giant with flowing Gregg Allman hair wearing a beat-up jean jacket stolen from Lynyrd Skynyrd and shit-kicking boots that would look right on a Circus of Power album. You wouldn't have an accurate picture of Smith, but you pieced together a fair grouping of his influences. Recorded once again at Rustbelt Studios with Eric Hoegemeyer under the watchful eye of Al Sutton (Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow), the new full-length swings easily between all of Smith's traditional influences, careening from delta blues into creepy doom and meshing classic rock with hippie psychedelia. Features Phil Durr (Big Chief, Giant Brain), Eric Miller, and Billy Reedy (Novadriver) as well as Small Stone owner Scott Hamilton.
