"This is a fabulous Sand album, catching the band in a transitional moment: the earlier records were structurally traditional and the following would start the breakdown of those limits. The results here are simply stunning. Quirky for sure, but ravishing and full of joy. I read somebody's testimony of quitting smoking with this album, and it makes perfect sense. Not all songs work, but you'll find the attempts alone worth admission. And those songs that DO work just leave me stunned & speechless with a big happy grin on my face. It's a wonderful record."
