"Finally, someone has made "From G to G" available again !!! Indeed, this album was never seriously distributed outside of Italy. I first really discovered contemporary Jazz in 1994... with this album ! I have since then been working in the Jazz and classical music industry, listened to an incredible amount of stuff over the years ranging from Bach to trip-hop, but this album of Gianluigi Trovesi is definitely the best thing I've ever heard so far... I also strongly suggest "Around small fairy tales". Trovesi's compositions are incredibly brilliant as well as totally unique (which is unfortunately very rarely the case nowadays). You'll simply have to learn to love this one."
