Ghosts of Television are five boys making hypnotic and accusatory music for frightened, angry people. Their music is party music for subterranean prisons and bedtime music for rabid insomniacs. This record is no exception. 'Furthest Village from the Sun' is a shady glimpse into their world, exploring influences from Post-Punk to Black Metal and covering a lot of ground in between. This four-track EP is 16 minutes of fire-and-brimmstone art-punk over four tracks with swelling guitar storms, wavering synthesizers and paranoid, wrathful vocals.
