"Like a cross between Beck and G.Love, these guys have a fresh soulful groove with a an original sound that is all their own. I especially liked "Chocolate" and " Does My Color Scare You". I'm picky about my music, but I HIGHLY recommend this CD."

"I love the Getaway People's debut album. Their style caught my eye when they opened for Barenaked Ladies this November, and I have been hooked ever since. Their music is brimming with funk and soul and listening to their CD just puts me in such a great mood. You have to try them!!!"
