I'm screaming because I'm

"Geri's second single off of the album of the same title takes a totally different route than that of "It's Raining Men". Whereas "Men" was an in your face pop dance track, this one is a pop rock track, something you might expect to hear off the "Austin Powers" Soundtrack or something. Very fun, but let's talk about those remixes! 1) Radio Edit - 3:24 - although listed as the original version, this is about 10 seconds shorter than the version that appears on the album. You can just see the mods being shagadelic to this one. 2) Sleaze Sisters Anthem Mix Edit - 4:58 - Sleaze Sisters have given us a remix that is very similar to most of their other mixes (Louise's "Beautiful Inside", Sheena Easton's "Giving Up, Giving In", Samantha Mumba's "Gotta Tell You") and this one is almost as good as most of those. Starting with the intro of "Scream" and "Faster" repeated ad nausem for the first minute and a half of the track until Geri's full vocal kicks in. And once they do, we're treated to a nice handbag club track. Unfortunate that it's a radio edit, but it is still a good five minutes. 3) Rob Searle Remix Edit - 4:25 - Now this mix is a little bit more on the hard house/trace side of things. No vocals, just beats. And not long enough to really do anything. Some of Rob Searle's other remixes (Maria Rubia's "Say It", Frankie Goes To Hollywood's "Two Tribes", and Kylie Minogue's "On A Night Like This") have been pleasers, and this one may have been, but in it's edited form, it can't go anywhere. 4) Burnt Remix - 7:07 - Burnt. I don't know who Burnt is, but I do like this remix alot. Very fast and hard, not what you'd expect from Ms. Halliwell. The refrains of "You wanna go faster" start out the track bringing us to a breakbeat section about two and a half minutes into the song, which builds up again into those teeth shattering beats. This is the one that the hardcore club kids will be looking for. HOT! So, if these were not radio edits, it would've gotten one more star. But any fan of Geri's does need to pick this one up."
Geri will have you screaming!

"Normally I would not buy a single to an album I already have but I have been so impressed with Geri's second album I just had to give some of her B-sides a try.
1. Scream if you wanna go faster. You already know this has a retro sound to it and the only difference between the album version is this does not have the engine revving sound in the begining. 2. New Religion---This song rocks!! It like a beach boys song with the beat. and the lyrics are very stand up and take charge!! and it ends with a very humorous "geri halliwell has left the building". It was written by her and Watkins and wilson....who co-write everything spicy.....this song will not disappoint any geri fan...or any spice fan for that matter.

3. Breaking Glass....This song is very, very deep. It was written by Geri and Peter Vettese, and its not that far off from 'calling' but its not about love. Its more like 'I was made that way' I think this single was worth it. I love 'new religion' It will give you your geri fix."
Good B-sides!

"Since I have the album, I bought this single because of the B-sides and it was worth it. New Religion is a good uptempo song, better than most of the songs on the album. Breaking Glass is weaker, but still good This single is worth buying, even though it doesn't include the video."
