"I am only 16 and taking level 4 french, but I LOVED this cd! I am taking french at my highschool, and I was so thrilled that my french teacher played "Romeo et Juliette". We also listened to "Notre Dame de Paris", but I did not think it was as good as "Romeo et Juliette". I would highly recommed that people all of the world should listen to this CD or watch the DVD. Without french musicals and songs, my class would not have been able to listen or watch any of these plays. I will give all of my credit to this CD to Gerard Presgurvic and my wonderful french teacher Madame Deckas-Becerra for showing us french music and culture. Thanks for making a great soundtrack! Also, when will Romeo et Juliette come out on DVD with english sub-titles??"

"The story of Romeo and Juliet has been done so often that I didn't really want to see or hear another version. This one changed my mind. Even though it is in French, the story can be followed and the music and voices are wonderful. Give it a try. If this musical were performed here, I would certainly go to it. We are missing out on a lot of great music by insisting on English only."
Wanting a Region I DVD of this musical too.

"I agree with Anna that his is an amazing CD.....and I have watched Notre Dame de Paris in the Region I format and was excited about the emotions involved as well as the amazing voices. I would love to have a DVD even if it were in another format. I too would buy a DVD player to see it. Let us know if there is a DVD available."

"I have to admit, I was very excited when my french teacher announced we'd be watching another french musical: romeo et juliette. However, I was a bit wary because I didn't think anything could measure up to Notre Dame de Paris, the first french musical I'd ever watched. I have to say, I still love Notre Dame de Paris more than Romeo et Juliette, but Romeo et Juliette takes a very close second. Damien Sargue is extremely good-looking, with his chiseled looks, and has a wonderful voice. The girl who plays Juliette is also very talented. I think the music is more enjoyable and even more beautiful after you have seen the musical. You can imagine the actors' faces and expressions while they're singing each song and it draws you in even more. Enjoy!"
