CD Reviews

DANG!!!! GERALD U DID IT THIS TIME
LadyLuvinMusic | Louisiana | 11/02/2003

"I'll be brief and straight to the point. Gerald did it this time. I didn't care too much for G-Spot. All the others before were aaaight! But this one OH MY GOODNESS, is definitely the bomb! From the INTRO to the OUTRO; Tracks 1-20, you will definitely feel "A Stroke Of Genius." Buy it! Also, as you know, these days record companies are encoding their product with materials that are distorting the product. Gerald sacrificed all that mumble jumble for quality. Sounds Good! Again you've gotta add this one to your collection."
Gerald IS the man!

"I'm not sure if the authors of the previous reviews listened to the same CD that I did. This CD is by far, one of his best! I hear alot in the reviews that he needs to stick with one style, but it's no sin to mix a little fast, up beat songs with his slower ballad type songs. I think some of you had better listen to this CD again and realize that this is one of his best recordings yet. (Look at the music charts.)"
A GOOD STROKE!

"After reading the other comments from various listeners, I'm wondering if they listened to the same CD that I heard! The CD was great; and G takes each CD that he does to another level. He played it safe by only having like 2 or 3 up-tempo cuts, and staying with the slower to moderate tempo style. "Close to you" with Tamia was beautiful, and I think Karen Carpenter would have liked the re-make. The various elements of Jazz that is also prevalent in the CD was wonderfully done. This CD will definately be in heavy rotation in my car."
