Album Description

2007 release featuring two previously unreleased concerts by one of the more celebrated Jazz experimentalists. The 1960 Massachusetts concert features Russell with Al Kiger, Dave Baker, Dave Young, Chuck Israels, Joe Hunt and David Lahm. For the Rhode Island gig from '64, he is joined by Don Ellis, John Gilmore, Steve Swallow, Pete La Roca and Sheila Jordan. 10 tracks total. RLR Records.

"This is an unauthorized recording. My husband, the late George Russell, did not give permission for this CD to be released. It is, in effect, stolen intellectual property, and the sound quality is unacceptable. If you support musicians, don't buy this shoddy merchandise."
