""India: Inner Peace Through Music" is an incredibly serene album. It's a slightly techno-meets Western smooth jazz/classical music-meets Indian traditions. The album clocks in at 73 minutes--so there's PLENTY of music for meditation, contemplation and yoga! The nature sounds evoke the majestic wildness of India, from the deserts of Rajasthan to the Himalayan plateau. There are the traditional sounds of the sitar, dilruba, tabla, and bansuri flutes. It evokes going into the mystic.
While some sounds more Western, "Rebirth" best imitates a traditional Indian raga. "Crystal Waters" and "Starfish" bring to mind the sacred Ganges. "Transformation" blends diverse animal sounds--even amphibians! "Ancient Blessing","Along the Sacred Path" and "Mantra" call to mind India's ancient mystical traditions. It is a beautiful path to sonic inner peace."
