I waited forever for this to come out on domestic issue

"Good thing I did-after "The Light Program", this is a bit of a letdown. What we have here is an archive of bits and pieces of Downes material-some interesting, some not. Downes adds here a ballad rendition of his old Buggles hit "Video Killed the Radio Star", sung by Deep Purple/ Black Sabbath alumnus Glenn Hughes. He already had done a cyber-symphonic version of the same tune for Korg-using one of their then-newest keyboards-on a promo sampler album they released. Balancing this is an intriguing version of "Ave Maria", sung with Cyndi Lauper-style pop intonation. Downes also pays a nod to his service (along with Buggles partner Trevor Horn) on the Yes album "Drama" with an instrumental version of "White Car", a song he contributed to that album. All in all, a lukewarm effort-if we need no other reminder, this album sort of rubs in the fact that, after all, this paradoxically excellent keyboardist did several Asia albums, but only one Yes release."
