Artists throughout the ages have been fascinated by the elements. These include the four common elements - Earth, Wind, Fire and Water - as well as "spiritual" elements such as Ether or Pneuma. Gene Newton began thinking about this project after he finished his very first album, Celestial Plea. Four years in the making, Elemental Suite is Gene's sonic interpretation of six elements - Wind, Earth, Fire, Water, Creation and Pneuma. "Together with the four natural elements, Gene Newton has incorporated the "spiritual elements" such as Ether and Pneuma into this terrific composition. The music stretches from extremely melodious segments to soft and meditative pieces. It is ambient music that remains appropriately light with ethereal textures. Great!"
