"it's hard to even adequately describe what Geisha accomplishes with this record. Probably the best bet is to imagine Jesus Lizard playing shoegaze...with an emphasis on the shoegaze. Loud distorted screaming augmented by just this swirling mass of sound. Just plain extraordinary. I have no idea where these guys came from, but they need to start putting out more records. Now!"

"these guys are the best thing in years. this is a very good cd. i didn't know whether to give it four or five stars, but i'd give it a 9 out of 10.

maybe a tad short of being a masterpiece.

if you ever liked 'noise-rock', you should check these guys out.

'psychocandy', mbv, medicine....now geisha play with noise on a different,

harder level. and it's great!

i'll bet steve albini wishes he could record these guys.

maybe people will catch on. maybe it will take ten or fifteen years for people to know. i had to give it more than one chance.

i didn't realize it the first time around, but on the second listen,

as it became familiar, it started to sound glorious.

check this band out.

'hymns for the living dead' is also highly recommended."
