CD ReviewsExcellent arranging, accompaniment, and artistic breadth 08/21/1998 (5 out of 5 stars) "In my opinion, Bolivia is one of Gato's very best releases ever. Everything seems to flow and to fit perfectly, from Gato's vocal percussion, to the superb accompaniment of Lonnie Liston Smith and Airto Moreira (among others)--which itself showcases Gato's skill as an arranger--to the rare appearance of Gato playing flute and singing an original Andean folk composition. I was hooked on Gato as a saxophonist long before I heard Bolivia, but for me, this was the CD really set him apart as an artist."
