"Well that's what this is, at least parts of it anyway. Guitar virtuoso Hoey's first Christmas cd is a refreshing change of pace from traditional Christmas offerings. With his wah-wah "Rudolph" his countrified "Jingle Bells" his feedback laden "White Christmas" his slide guitar "Blue Christmas" and his Hendrix-tinged "Auld Lang Syne", Hoey delivers classic Christmas melodies with style and humor. His headbanging versions of "12 Days" and "God Rest Ye" will blow your doors off. A fine effort from a talented musician. Check out Vol's 2 and 3 which are as good or better."

"This CD is sure to please any Christmas Music fan. Hoey mixes rock, blues, country, and some tasty acoustic work for a very well rounded album Christmas album. Put this one on repeat during the holiday!"

"Quite a difference from the usual holiday fare. There is something on the album for everyone--from hard rockers to accoustic to country. No vocals on this album, but no vocals necessary as you will know the words to most of these holiday classics. Sing as loud as you want--Gary will drown you out (except for the accoustic numbers)."

"I've always been a Gary Hoey fan, but when I heard him on my local rock station say he had a Christmas album, I had to get it. It was the middle of summer a couple years ago, and this album seems to only sell during certain parts of the year (so get it now! ). I was blown away with the hard rocking parts of the CD. This is a must have for EVERYONE!"
