A great beginning...

"With this 1995 debut E.P., Garrison Starr offers up seven torchy folk songs that are heavy and literally wrenched out of her guitar. It's dark and slow and lurks around the edges of folk/rock. Her only previous release "Pinwheels" was available on cassette, and never available on CD.
Tracks include: 01) Rebel 02) Stupid Girl 03) Molly 04) Wooden Instrument 05) Pattycake 06) Pauper 07) Voices.
Her later releases including 1997's "Eighteen Over Me", 2002's "Songs From Takeoff To Landing" as well as 2004's "Airstreams & Satellites" have continued her incredible songwriting and have evolved her musical skills to become quite an accomlished performer. Seeing her live is an unparallelled emotional experience and each song feels like being punched in the gut."
