"This is probably the most accessible of Garaj Mahal's three live releases. Recorded at the Boulevard Cafe in Chicago, this album oozes with the sweat and spirituality of a live performance. Call and response funk, Zappa-like brain-jazz, "The Chicken", and a stirring take on our National Anthem make this CD a great introduction to this band."

"I like this group live. You can download their earlier concerts free and legally from www.furthurnet.org and get even finer pieces of their work. (Legal because they and many others have a taping policy that allows people to tape the concerts.)This is excellent music"
