"The Gap Band bucked the trend of syntho beat and was one of the first bands to use heavey base lines in their music. They have got one of the most wicked grooves of the era, and their rein on the dance floor ruled for 6 yrs solid. The version of Burn rubber on this cd is the only one any true funk/dance fan wants to have"
I am SO loving this CD!!

"this disc reflects the grand Grooves of the Gap Band.it adds more layers of funk.the Horns&Bass are dead square in the Pocket.and it takes nothing away from the vocals.they never lost the Groove during the Synth&drum Machine Happy 80's."

"NO Digital Sampling/No Streaming/No Looping/ Music Created within a period of time where talent was required. You can't fake da FUNK. If you are truly seeking a toe tapping experience where a group of gentleman take syth & bass and create a block party where you can't stop feeling the beat. Then you are in for a treat. Go and pull up the kids and let them listen to where their current music has come from as no talent artist get rich off of the foundation of the funk. The GAP Band is off the Mother###### Chain.... (LIVE or In Stereo)...."
