"This CD has all their big hits but to be honest I hadn't heard of most of them and I am Australian. It does have the sensational Sounds of Then (this is Australia) song which is one of the best patriotic songs for Australia out there. It was the Australian TV station Channel Nine's theme song a couple of years ago so you may remember it from then. A fair number of surfing videos also have these songs in their soundtrack so maybe check them out if your not sure about purchasing.There's nineteen songs on here. If you have no idea what they sound like Gangajang would sound the most similar to Crowded House in most of their songs. Buy this album for Sounds of Then alone.There's no printed lyrics in the CD booklet."

"The Essential of Gang gajang is the best Australian music I have heard.If you are a surfer, so it is a speacial CD for you.Most of the traks on the CD were used as music cover for the Classical Surfing Movie "Mad Wax"(Made by Quiksilver co)."
