"One of the best project that ever recorded, Gambale Hamm Smith are a powerful jazz rock fusion trio. Most of the music recorded is inspired in the Mahavishnu Orchestra work, with complex performances yet soulful compositions. Of course, based on what hey have played before you can't expect less from this really professional musicians. For musicians this is a one in a lifetime CD."
Awesome

"I recieved this CD for x-mas, and I'm amused.
The playing is awesome (can you expect something else from this monsters?) and I really liked it.
Stu Hamm's bass tone is unbelievable.
Frank Gambale's solos are awesome
Steve Smith's drumming is solid
Anything more to add?
GREAT JAZZ, GREAT MUSICIANS..........GREAT RECORD"

"If you like a true jazz rock fusion with a heavy rock sound, than this is it! The most amazing rhythm section I've ever heard. Not accessible to an 'average' music fan, though very rewarding to the connaisseur. It's intoxicating."
For starters... I can sit in awe...

"Great record. The three boys each shine brightly. Occasionaly I am not thrilled with the tone/sound/effects of/with the guitar...Otherwise close to perfect. The Ses (Stu and Steve) I think are illuminating slightly more so than Frank. I prefer the sound of this CD compared to Vital Information... VI is too much "old school" jazz; While these compositions Rock (even when in a jazz format). For those who enjoy the harder side of fusion, this should be in your collection."
YEAR OF THE POWER TRIO!

"Different from Frank Gambale & Steve Smith's usual sound when performing together in VITAL INFORMATION. What this CD may lack at times in the way of melodic line and chord progression is certainly made up for by Frank's searing lead guitar solos. According to the liner notes, the nine songs were done in nine days, during which time they watched old Mahavishnu Orchestra videos. You can definitely hear the influence on some tracks! If you like this CD, check out VITAL TECH TONES also."
