A bay area classic

"A classic of early 90s bay area rap. Contemporaries include mac mall, JT tha Bigga Figga (a member of GLP), Spice 1, e-40, 4-tay, San Quinn, etc. The bay had its own flavor at the time, raw and creative without being overly underground or even overly gangsta. As an album, Straight out the Labb is probably the best of them all, great beats and lyrics from beginning to end. Another classic of the era was JT tha Bigga Figgas solo album, but the beats on that LP were not quite as nice..."
