Amazon.comOn the third and final installment of his 60 Minutes of Funk series, celebrity DJ Funkmaster Flex once again cuts together classic tracks and recent favorites with exclusive freestyle sessions by the biggest names in rap. Flex acts partly as hip-hop editor--smoothly compiling the best and trimming away the rest--and partly as team manager, inspiring top performances from his talented roster. No wonder, then, that Flex's Mix Tape feels like a fast-paced all-star game in which top players take turns getting wild, strutting their stuff, and having fun. With this feast for the short-attention-spanned rap fan, Flex retires from mix tapes while still in top form. As long as rap stays largely a singles genre, though, mix tapes will remain the best value in hip-hop. --Roni Sarig
