""I used to dream about this" is one of the most moving songs that I have ever heard. And his rendition of "I'm so lonsesome I could cry" will surely bring tears to your eyes. My favorite tract is "I could be wrong" If you appreciate Lennon, Pink Floyd, Rundgren, McCartney as well as a host of other greats, you'll appreciate this music. If you don't appreciate great talent...stick to the boy bands. Fred Drake...you've got to love his work!"

"This is a very beautiful and VERY moving cd.
I really like 'I used to dream about it'. Its the second track.
It reminds of what it must be like to be at a prom.
That song would play and half the people would be completely in love with the night, and the other half wants to blow the world away. I am half and half when I hear it."

"If you've checked out the Desert Sessions recordings, then you're already familiar with Fred Drake's work with Josh Homme and the Earthlings. This album lets him show off the psychedelic cowboy sounds that have been showcased in many of the desert rock outings he had a hand in producing. There's something here for everybody -- my mom even likes the cover of "Blue Moon." Ghostly, melodic, with hints of a deep sadness that even the Emo boys and Shoegazer girls could appreciate. But he still has a true country western flare that just won't quit. Trying to describe "Twice Shy" is just so hard -- because every song hits a different nerve, yet it still holds together perfectly. One of those albums you just have to own."
