"Rosolino is a smokin bonist... This Cd is pretty amazing as it really features him as the prime horn and he does a lot of playing. Really raw stuff, straight no chaser and blue daniel are my definite favourite tracks."

"Rosolino played these tracks while he was in concert in Europe. It is a blowin' session base on some great jazz vehicles, among them the best known Frank's tune, "Blue Daniel" taken here at 4/4 time. It is fast bebop music, Frank was in perfect shape blowin' interesting choruses one after another. It is one of the best examples of Frank's music, who was one of the best boppers ever. The best trombonist ever for sure for what I am concerned."
