CD ReviewsWonderful Album! S. Pettis | Seattle, WA | 11/30/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "I had heard Frank Cunimondo a number of times, when I would visit Pittsburgh. He is a superb pianist. He can swing with the best of them and his ballads are sweet. The title song of this album became a hit with the acid jazz DJ's in Europe. After I heard the title tune, the next time I was in Pittsburgh I found out where Frank was playing. He was doing a solo piano gig at a fancy hotel. At intermission I chatted him up a bit and he told me when he started getting calls from London about the song he did not know what to make of it at first. He was not really hip to the AJ scene but he apparently caught on pretty quick. He said something to the effect that he had made the record using this vocalist with a "little girl" voice. Anyway I find that voice absolutely enchanting and hope they make another record. I do not know of anyone who sounds similar though she would have fit right in on the old Shirley Temple movies. All the songs are either swinging or beautiful. I particularly like Feelin' Good, Animal Crackers and A House Is Not a Home."
