"One listen and this will become one of your favorite albums. I listen to it almost every day. Be forewarned: these catchy melodies and rhythms will be hard to get out of your head! Good variety of Mexican music from polkas to beautiful love songs (no Mariachi), all featuring Corrales's amazing guitarwork. Very interesting to hear the German influence on border music, especially the role of the accordion and the waltz, or "oom pah pah" beat that underscores many of these tunes. A true delight! Want more? Look for "Seville to Santa Fe", an Spanish guitar anthology featuring Frank Corrales."
South of the Border Instrumentals--delightful.

"Happy, up-beat, below the border (Rio Grande) instumentals featuring acoustic guitar, brass and accordian. Similar to Tijuana Brass but much more free and delightful with a mexican flare that is sure to get you tapping your feet and humming the melodies. Great tex-mex traveling music."
Excellent music

"I recently ordered "Border Spice" and "Cantina Classics" and both are outstanding and easy to listen to. I listened to these cd's all weekend while cooking with some friends. I'm ordering more Frank Corrales music today!!!"
