Frank Bridge (1879-1941) is most often mentioned as the teacher of a later and more famous British composer, Benjamin Britten, but his own music has become more and more admired after a long period of neglect. The Dussek Piano Trio was formed in 1988 by three performers of considerable international experience. They have received widespread recognition both for their performances at leading venues. Their recordings of trios by Brahms, Bridge, and Haydn have been highly acclaimed.
