"This is a great album that, like all Cabrel's music, grows on you more and more until you're sure you'd be happy in life without any other music than his! There's great variety on this one -- from the beautiful, romantic lyrics of "La fille qui m'accompagne" and the steel guitar, sing-til-your-blue-in-the-face catchiness of "Edition Speciale," to the self-abasing honesty of "Said et Mohammed" and the biting playfulness of "Quelqu'un de l'interieur." This album is definitely worth owning, but, let's be honest, if you're not a francophone, you can't possibly appreciate Cabrel to the fullest! Vive Francis!"

"Did you love that French music that Albert Brooks was singing to while he was drowning his sorrows in his apartment in the movie Broadcast News? Well, that tune is called L'edition Speciale, and it was sung by Cabrel on this album--enjoy!"
