"I remember watching this band play when i was a young and impressionble teen in west philly. I remember the guys in this band and looking up to them as if they were in their own little club that somehow i wished i could be in. These guys appeared to be straight nerds: almost like they would have appeared in the movie 16 candles... they had a sense of humor all their own and they were a tight clique of dudes as i remember. almost like a nerdy frat if u will. when i saw them play i remember the singer flailing about to and fro while spinning himself into a tangled mess of the microphone chord. it was pretty hip to watch though. the bass player reminded me of tom cruise from that movie risky business... it was more or less a noisy poppy-punky band that was above most pop punk bands and was unique in their presentation. i just recently got a copy of this cd and was happy to listen to these very catchey songs and sing along...remembering the songs that i listened to late at night alone in my bedroom awaiting another day at school. 1 of the fellas i know from the band plays in a little band from philadelphia pa called mountain high. they are a mediocre band that clssifies their brand of noise as punk, industrial, and hard house or something like that."
