Great diversity

"I'm relatively new to Fourplay but not to music nor the guitar. It took me 50+ years to finally discover a genre of music that really inspires me - smooth jazz. 'X' is a fantastically diverse album with great tracks both instrumental and vocal. Michael McDonald's 'My Love is Leavin' has become one of my favorite tracks simply because of the power of his voice and the lyrics. 'Sunday Morning' is my other favorite track and would mellow out even the most cynical person. I will say that in the past some of Larry Carlton's guitar solos have been lenghty musical gymnastics but there's nothing tedious about anything on this album. Great vocals, great musical accompaniment. Buy it and ejoy!!"
