Yet no conclusions need be drawn by these stories, which serve as a rich tapestry into which Langdon's symphonies of sorrow have been painstakingly woven: the broken-hearted melodies of "Nights Like This" and "Once Upon A Very Special Time" will surely induce tears in the eyes of the listener, a guarantee if one reads the accompanying poetry supplied by this Renaissance Shakespeare. Nothing short of a "romantic", Langdon bestows upon each composition a sweet sentiment for the beloved and in each case this word-poem enforces the deep feelings this collection evokes from the listener's own broken heart.(Of special note are "Leitzel's Song", "Lest We Be Forgot", and "Tears of Love"). "AS I SIT BY THE FIRE PLACE, STARING OUT THE WINDOW, I PLAY "FOREVER IN TIME". WHEN IT'S COLD OUTSIDE, AND THE WEATHER AND WORLD BOTH FEEL DARK, THIS CD WARMS ME. IT SPEAKS TO ME. NO WORDS NEEDED. AND BECAUSE OF THAT, BECAUSE OF IT'S BEAUTIFUL SILENCE, I FEEL MOVED. MOVED TO DO SOMETHING. MOVED TO SAY SOMETHING. TO SOMEONE. HOPEFULLY YOU WHO READ THIS REVIEW WILL BE MOVED TOO.
